The first work from Fernando Franco revolves around Ana, a 30 year old ambulance driver. Though good at her job, Ana has problems relating in her personal life. She doesn't know it, but she suffers from a condition known by psychiatrists as Borderline Personality Disorder. The situation pushes her to outbreaks of self-destructive behaviour, alcohol abuse and self-harm. Ana is incapable of getting what she wants most: to be happy.

He is a taxi driver who drifts aimlessly through the night while his own wife endures a sleepless night with a crying baby and a nagging mother-in-law.
Beats tells the story of Bruno and Angela, a couple who has problems. The night ngela suffers a heart attack, Bruno does not react and when he realizes that he has been about to let his wife die, tries to revive her, but apparently it is too late. At the hospital, Angela revives. Gustavo, a physician and friend of the girl, tells Bruno that Angela might remember what happened. Angela Bruno and return home, but Bruno is worried that Angela remembers what happened. Paranoid, Bruno thinks his wife is trying to get revenge. One night, Angela finds out and wants to do the same thing happen to Bruno, but the strategy is twisted.
