The series follows Hunyadi’s adventures leading to the Siege of Belgrade in 1456, a pivotal battle in which Hunyadi led the Hungarian forces to successfully repel an invasion by the Ottoman Empire. Hunyadi’s bravery and military prowess earned him the nickname ‘The White Knight of Christendom.’ The show explores Hunyadi’s life, plagued by scandal, political power plays and conspiracies between noble families from Warsaw, Rome, Belgrade and Vienna.
